RESERVATIONS
Please have your credit card with you when making a booking as we require a 30% deposit to hold and confirm your booking.
Booking your treatment is essential so we can best accommodate your needs.
ARRIVAL PROCEDURE
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to ensure you have adequate time to fill out a consultation form, consult with your therapist and change before your treatment. Late arrival will reduce the treatment time and you shall be charged the full amount of the treatment you booked.
CANCELLATION AND RE-SCHEDULING
If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to your treatment by calling us on Ph: 0481 821 611.
We reserve appointment times just for you, failure to notify us within those times will result in a 30% cancellation fee where a deposit has been taken to secure an appointment.
PARKING AND ACCESS
There is on street parking outside the property. This is a private residence and access is via a driveway and footpath where entry to the studio is through a side gate. If access is a difficulty, please contact me directly for additional arrangements.
HEALTH INSURANCE REBATES
Health rebates are available for remedial massage treatments and nutrition consultations. An invoice will be printed post treatment or service for you to claim a rebate from your provider. Nutrition consultations are not covered by all private health providers. Please consult with your provider.
GIFT VOUCHER POLICY
All Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from purchase date. Gift Vouchers purchased for a specific treatment or promotion are valid for 3 years but revert to dollar value if used after the first 12months. This is to accommodate for yearly rising costs.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable as stated at time of purchase on-line.
Wish to re-gift you voucher. Send us an email reception@kokorowoman.com.au with the gift voucher number and the full name of the person the gift voucher will be transferred to. A new voucher with a new number will be issued to the new recipient. Gift vouchers will not be accepted as a form of payment for treatments if in another person’s name.
BOOKINGS WITH GIFT VOUCHER
Please review our treatment menu prior to your booking. Have your gift voucher number, expiry date and treatment details or monetary value on your gift voucher ready. If you are booking a treatment that exceeds the gift voucher value than have your credit card with you. If you wish to change the treatment recorded on your gift voucher, we can organise this for you. At the time of redeeming your gift certifcate, please bring a copy of the certificate with you. This can be a printed copy or electronic copy on your mobile.
PRE AND POST NATAL CARE
Please let us know of your pregnancy when you reserve your booking to ensure both your wellness and enjoyment. Some treatments may require you to be over your first trimester, and some treatments maybe contraindicated for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. We recommend that you check with your doctor about your individual needs prior to booking treatments. Treatments are noted if pregnancy safe.
BABIES AND CHILDREN
We love babies and children, however due to safety concerns babies and children are not permitted in the studio.
COMFORT AND EXPERIENCE
A professional consultation with the therapist pre-treatment will take place to discuss the format of the treatment with you and to discuss your needs and concerns. We ask that you communicate openly before and during the treatment to ensure that you receive the best possible treatment. It is not common practice for the therapist to chat and ask you questions during the treatment as this is a time for you to rest and relax. Draping and covering during your treatment will be always with towels and blankets for warmth and modesty. Should you need to visit the bathroom during your treatment you will be provided with slippers and a wrap robe.
WHAT TO WEAR
Casual attire is best. If you are having a facial or body work the best option if it is comfortable is a strapless bra with clasps, or a traditional bra and the therapist will tuck the shoulder straps under your arms. Either undergarment allows the therapist to access your upper chest, shoulders, neck, and back muscles. We do provide wrap towels with some some treatments for your modesty. If having lower body work than a thong or briefs are preferred as this enables the therapist to tuck in the towels securely and get proper access to your glutes.
MOBILE DEVICES
The studio aims to create a tranquil and relaxed space for you to rest and experience moments of calm. Please switch your mobile to flight mode on entering the Studio.
VALUABLES
Your belongings will always remain with you however, we recommend you leave your valuables at home.
FACILITIES
There is a bathroom available, and your therapist will escort you to its location. There is an outdoor undercover waiting area at the entrance where you can take a seat if you arrive earlier to your appointment than the expected arrival times and another treatment is still in progress.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
For any dietary requirements, allergies, conditions, disabilities (including pregnancy) please advise at the time of booking as it will help us to assist you and help us make the appropriate modifications or choices. Whilst all care is taken, Kokoro Woman can not guarantee any of our treatments or catering are completely free from traces of allergens, or appropriate for any medical condition. Please seek prior advice from your doctor or your Healthcare Professional and inform the studio prior to booking.
